A conversion is a single multiplication: the amount you enter is multiplied by the current USD/EUR exchange rate. Rates move continuously during market hours, so a conversion is accurate as of the timestamp shown rather than indefinitely.
How We Calculate
Capital Signal obtains exchange-rate data from configured data providers and normalises it before displaying it. Historical performance is calculated by comparing the reference price at the start of the selected period with the latest available price. Where a market was closed on the reference day, the previous published rate is used.

The 1D, 3D, 5D, 7D, 1M, 3M and 1Y figures are measured from the same historical series shown in the chart. A period is only reported when the series contains a usable reference price for it.

What is USD to EUR?
It is the rate at which one US Dollar can be exchanged for Euro. Multiplying an amount in USD by that rate gives the equivalent amount in EUR.
How is the USD/EUR rate calculated?
Capital Signal does not set the rate. It receives published rates from its configured data providers, normalises them into a single format, and shows the most recent one together with the time it was published.
Is the exchange rate live?
Not necessarily. Each figure carries the time it was published, and a delayed figure is labelled as such. Reference rates from central-bank sources are published once per business day, so they do not change intraday or at weekends.
Can I convert EUR back to USD?
Yes. Swap the two currencies in the converter and the reverse rate is applied.
How often is the data updated?
Figures are cached for a short period and refreshed when a page is requested after that period has passed. How current they can be depends on the data source: continuous markets update through the day, while reference rates update once per business day.
