Event Listing Guidelines

What qualifies for the directory, what every submission needs, and how verification works.

These guidelines explain exactly what gets published, what gets rejected, and what happens between submitting and going live.

What qualifies

  • Web3, crypto, blockchain, DeFi, AI-and-crypto or adjacent developer events.
  • Any format: conference, summit, hackathon, meetup, workshop, demo day or side event.
  • In-person, virtual or hybrid — the format is a field, not a filter for entry.
  • A public, working event page with confirmed dates and a location.

What every submission needs

  1. Official event name, exactly as it is branded.
  2. Start date and end date.
  3. City and country (or “Virtual”).
  4. The official website URL, and the ticket or registration URL if separate.
  5. Organiser name and a contact address we can verify against the domain.
  6. A short description in your own words — 40 to 80 words is ideal.

Why listings get rejected

  • No public event page, or a page with no confirmed date.
  • Token sales, giveaways or “investment opportunities” presented as events.
  • Events whose primary purpose is a backlink or a mailing-list harvest.
  • Duplicates of an event already listed — tell us instead and we will update the existing record.
  • Copy that guarantees returns or misrepresents speakers, sponsors or regulatory status.

Verification and updates

A human checks every submission against the official source before it is published. After that, re-scans compare dates, city and ticket links against the source and flag any difference for review — so a listing never quietly changes underneath the people relying on it.

Spotted something wrong? Send the event URL and the correction through the contact page.
